NC-SEAA ESA+
Available to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Funds may be used to pay tuition and fees for eligible private schools, and for expenses such as therapy, tutoring services, and educational technology. Learn more.
UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation
Provides medical grants to help children gain access to health-related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their family’s commercial health
insurance plan. Applicants don’t have to be members of UnitedHealthcare to apply. Learn more.
Autism Strong Foundation
Offers assistance for families to be able to afford proven autism therapies, receive immediate funds for emergencies, give joy through the holiday season
without stressing about the financial strain it could cause and experience summer camp among other. Learn more.
KNOWAutism
Offers scholarships to financially disadvantaged children with autism between the age of 12 months and 18 years of age to assist with the cost of attending a special-needs school or therapeutic program. Learn more.
C.A.R.E. Foundation
Anyone living in the U.S. with a household income level less than $75,000 per year can apply for this grant. Learn more.
ORACLE Health Foundation
Covers a wide variety of clinical, equipment, travel and lodging, and vehicle modification costs related to children’s healthcare needs. Learn more.
First in Families of NC
The local Chapters offer support to families and individuals according to their self-defined needs. Examples of supports include computers, home furnishings or modifications, childcare or respite, or repairs to vehicles. Learn more.
Modest Needs
Provides short-term financial assistance to individuals and families in temporary financial crisis. Learn more.
National Autism Association
Provides communication devices to individuals with autism who are nonspeaking or unreliably speaking, and whose communication challenges put them at increased risk of injury or harm. Learn more.
ASDF
Provides iPads for children with autism who have challenges with verbal and nonverbal communication. Also offers summer camp scholarships. Learn more.
CGMA
Provides financial assistance to Active Duty CGMA members who are faced with increased financial requirements because they have dependents registered in the Coast Guard Special Needs Program. Learn more.
My Gym Foundation
Accepts applications from or on behalf of children with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities and those coping with chronic illness or financial needs. Learn more.

MyGOAL
MyGOAL Autism Grant is a program to support families caring for individuals with Autism. The MyGOAL Autism Grant is offered once a year, applications are available at the beginning of the year and decisions are rendered in mid- July. Learn more.
Varghese Summersett Autism Scholarship
Intended to assist a deserving autistic child who needs financial aid for educational or recreational opportunities. The award may be used towards a camp, tutoring, education, or other tools to help the student progress and live a fulfilling, happy life. Learn more.
The Maggie Welby Foundation
Offers scholarships for children grades Kindergarten through twelfth grade. The scholarships are awarded annually to children who demonstrate a financial need. Covers school tuition, not costs of therapies and medical bills. Learn more.
